British Napoleonic Foot Artillery

Finished my first unit of artillery. The 3 nine pounder guns and crew are from the Victrix box set with the addition of a couple of mounted Perry artillery captains.
              I enjoyed the change of painting blue rather than red! A few more units of Infantry are planned next and maybe another unit of cavalry.
              Comments and criticisms are most welcome as always....

    Very nice! I especially love the basing.

    It's a personal preference, but I always like to paint the gun bore.

    I actually forgot about the gun barrel before I took the pictures... I totally agree with you and as we speak I'm drilling the bores out with a pin vice an painting them black!

    I've done that now as well now Andrew used Tamiya weathering powder just like I use on my tank barrels...was just in too much of a rush to get some pictures up!
