Well to satisfy everyone's curiosity here are the gold, silver and bronze winners..

Chaos Dwarfs part 10 : K'Daii Destroyer

Over on the Chaos Dwarf Online Website they run a Chaos Dwarf themed painting contest called the Golden Hat!
The latest competition was to create and paint a K'Daii Destroyer, a sort of Chaos Dwarf Daemon. This was my entry although unfortunately I didn't place in the medal positions...again!!!

Chaos Dwarfs part 8 : Hobgoblin Bolt thrower

Here are some work in progress pictures of my Hobgoblin Bolt thrower.
It is scratch built from plasticard and plenty of gubbinz from my Bitz Box!
The 2 Hobgoblin crew are built from Skaven plaguemonks and GW goblins while the Chaos Dwarf Daemonsmith is a converted Forgeworld model:

Chaos Dwarfs part 7 : Hobgoblin Warriors

Time for the next installment of my Chaos Dwarfs: a unit of Hobgoblin warriors. I Love painting Greenskins in general and Hobgoblins in particular. These were converted from the GW common goblins boxset and some GW Skaven plauge monks plus some greenstuff.....

Chaos Dwarfs part 6 : Fireglaives

Next update... Chaos Dwarf warriors armed with fireglaives...handguns with blades that count as a halberd in close combat... These are actually some of the new Forgeworld models and are quite nice with good detail and were enjoyable to paint.
